Associate Mobile App Creative Producer/Writer

Our ideal candidate is a resourceful, self-motivated, individual with a passion for social advertising design and mobile app marketing with a minimum 2-3 years of creative content project management experience, preferably in the entertainment, mobile app or online advertising agency industries.

 

The Associate Mobile App Creative Producer/Writer will be responsible for providing excellent client account service and generating effective and meaningful creative content for our client’s brands.

Candidate will be expected to work both autonomously, with limited supervision, and collaboratively with other team members, demonstrating a commitment toward shared goals and a willingness to take initiative. In addition, will be responsible for ensuring that projects deliver on time and on budget. Candidate will also contribute to the scoping, pricing, planning, staffing, budget, and execution of various accounts and projects.

 

CREATIVE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Passion for social advertising and mobile app marketing.
  • Working knowledge of film and 2D/3D animation pipelines and language.
  • Strong writing background, including conceptual and creative writing experience for advertising and or film/television.
  • Keen sense of tone of voice and how to write consistently for a brand.
  • Copywriting experience.
  • Be prepared to produce fresh and quality content daily.
  • Experience working on short-timeline, fast-paced projects.

 

PRODUCER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Collaborate with CEO and Creative Director on all accounts.
  • Managed day-to-day operations of the Creative Team: oversight of editors, animators, and designers, and their progress on daily tasks, employee contracts, resolving personnel issues, performance tracking, long-term planning and budget.
  • Ensure that team members are adhering to quality and deadlines.
  • Exceptional communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong time management with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Research and analyze trending and competitive content within the industry and stay up to date on the latest content marketing trends along with key audience segments.
  • Maintain client relations and see that clients receive unsurpassed service and are well informed throughout the project.
  • Ensure that clients understand what is within the scope of a project and what is not, and that clients receive the highest level of service on a consistent basis.
  • Ensure that management receives accurate, complete and timely reports regarding all accounts including any client issues, any internal issues, delivery issues, and resource issues.
  • Problem-solve with other team members to ensure that projects have the appropriate resources in terms of team members, equipment, software, intellectual property assets, and any other appropriate areas.
  • Ability to identify marketing goals, develop marketing strategies and tactics to obtain goals, implement and measure effectiveness of those tactics, and then make adjustments as needed based upon metrics.
  • Video conferencing with clients on a regular basis as needed.
  • Continually develop client’s strategic communication plans based on analytics insights.
  • Manage multiple accounts and work across key members internally to produce campaigns and client deliverables.
  • Generate creative histories and perform creative audits looking for issues and opportunities with creative testing.
  • Recruit and pair multidisciplinary design teams appropriate for a broad spectrum of social advertising images, videos and playables with continually vetting new domestic and international talent to scale teams as needed.
  • Oversee art asset management including design versioning, references, style guides and organization of assets received from and delivered to clients, as well as requesting additional assets from clients.
  • Use our proprietary software, Creative Marketplace, for resource planning and project management.
  • Communicate with Company via email, phone, Slack (chat) and Creative Marketplace.

Compensation & Benefits

The Perfect Sr. Manager, User Acquisition Candidate

  • Manage all aspects of Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns using our proprietary software, AdRules.
  • Oversee execution and optimization of Facebook advertising campaigns to exceed clients’ goals across many verticals.
  • Plan, manage, optimize, and report on paid social media campaigns.
  • Become an expert in Facebook advertising and the AdRules platform.
  • Write ad copy and work with graphic designers to optimize images.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of Facebook and Instagram advertising: build ads, analyze data, optimize continuously and manage creative testing.
  • Develop strategies to exceed clients’ performance goals.
  • Create images in Photoshop (or manage external designers) and write ad copy to optimize performance.
  • Analyze your ad spend and use the data to formulate your strategy.
  • Optimize ads for efficiency based on performance data using our AdRules platform.
  • Develop client-facing skills on weekly calls, deliver strategic insights and daily summaries.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Strong analytic, quantitative and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • BA / BS / MBA or 2+ years’ experience in high-scale, hands-on performance marketing role with Facebook Ads and User Acquisition.
  • Experience in performance marketing, online advertising, media buying, lead generation or consulting.
  • Strong understanding of ads metrics (CPI, CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA, ROAS, ROI, LTV).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Plus: experience working with native social media ad platforms (Facebook Power Editor, Twitter Ads, Google AdWords).
  • Plus: experience with other PMD / FMP bid management platforms.

Currently, we’re looking for a senior engineer to join our team. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, solution-oriented, flexible, entrepreneurial and conscious of both the bottom line and creating simple, well-performing software.

 

This role requires you to translate business requirements into technical specs and execute them with limited direction. You should also be comfortable switching between a user interface and back-end coding.

 

In addition, experience with Facebook, Twitter, Google, Pinterest and Snapchat advertising APIs are a big plus.

Core Qualifications

  • Solid senior-level application development history in at least one high-level language such as Python, NET, Java, etc. We primarily utilize Python 2.7.
  • Excellent JavaScript and HTML/CSS skills (single-page apps, dynamic HTML). Our AdRules UI is highly dynamic and complex, and you will be required to create new features and modify existing ones.  Your JavaScript skills should be on-par with your application/backend programming skills.
  • Vast SQL experience is an absolute must, especially experience with large result sets and complex, high-workload queries. Some SQL is assembled dynamically via the application code, so mastery is a requirement.
  • Experience building a system from the ground-up, with an understanding of how different areas of the system interact, and tuning and optimizing the workload that a system performs – being the system “mastermind”.
  • Exceptional learning skills and work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with limited direction.

Other Desired Skills

  • Domain knowledge and understanding of digital advertising or performance marketing
  • Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, Google, Pinterest, Snapchat or other digital advertising APIs

 Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support integration of Facebook APIs and AdRules, our proprietary ad management solution
  • Work with our CTO to develop and enhance existing tools
  • Translate rough business requirements into engineering specs and drive them to completion; contribute to the emerging idea
  • Support the campaign management team and AdRules end-users in their execution of Facebook campaigns
  • Monitor system performance and respond to issues; a degree of on-call willingness is required
