As a Creative Strategist in Consumer Acquisition’s Creative Studio, you will bridge the gap between design and user acquisition teams to produce paid social advertising videos for Facebook and Google app campaign advertisers. You will lead client relationships, collaborate closely with creative teams. You’ll be responsible for driving creative optimization for the world’s largest social advertisers like: Matchington Mansion, King, Glu, Jam City, Playtika, Playrix, Rappi, Ubisoft, Sega, Checkout51, EBATES, Blue Apron, Ford, LionStudios, Twitch, TrueCar, Bills.com and more.

Role Description:

  • Reporting to the Creative Director and working closely with our design and user acquisition teams to understand performance metrics and develop creative strategies to improve the ROI of Facebook and Google video ads.
  • Using online competitive research (like Facebook Ads Library and Social Peta) to research and study competitive videos, industry trends and develop hypothesis on creative concepts to be tested.
  • This is a critical client-facing role in our creative team, helping to dream up new ways to communicate the value propositions and brands for games, apps and web services through high-performing video advertising.
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions to develop and pitch new social advertising ideas.
  • Own client relationships for multiple advertisers in our portfolio.
  • Passion for animation, social advertising, and mobile app advertising.
  • Write concepts that engage specific personas in an audience or leverage ideas from competitive companies.
  • Research and analyze competitive ads and industry trends to inform visual concepts and strategies.
  • Use performance data to help successfully execute long-term plans for improving account performance.
  • Lead strategy meetings with clients and in-house creative teams to understand business objectives, client positioning, consumer needs and performance metrics.
  • Develop monthly creative strategies, competitive analysis, testing calendars and work with the user acquisition team to track and report on performance of creative experiments.
  • Attend pitch meetings with clients to gain new business
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions with internal/external creative and user acquisition teams.
  • Successfully navigate client and agency relationships
  • Develop internal/external briefs from client RFPs into an agency brief.
  • Extreme attention to detail, experience with managing assets and understanding the basics of media production

Background:

  • +3 years in performance advertising, direct-response creative production, working knowledge of 2D / 3D production, animation techniques and/or game design.
  • Familiarity of Facebook / Google App Campaign advertising best practices.
  • Working knowledge of paid social acquisition and direct-response creative best practices
  • Experience in compositing, editing, animation, motion graphics and visual storytelling.
  • Outstanding client-facing communication skills
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative, design, research and competitive analysis experience.
  • Self-directed strategist with outstanding writing and communication abilities.
  • At ease presenting and brainstorming creative ideas in a client-facing setting.

Junior Creative Director

We’re looking for skilled freelancers willing to work remote from home who do excellent After Effects animation/video editing/motion graphics to edit and assemble client assets into completed ads. As part of our creative team, you’ll be contributing to the production of ads for games, apps, and services that appear on the above social media sites. Our artists are given a library of art assets (video, images, copy) from a client, and we then creatively repurpose and assemble these assets into 5 to 15-second ads.

Currently, we’re looking for a senior engineer to join our team. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, solution-oriented, flexible, entrepreneurial and conscious of both the bottom line and creating simple, well-performing software.

This role requires you to translate business requirements into technical specs and execute them with limited direction. You should also be comfortable switching between a user interface and back-end coding.

In addition, experience with Facebook, Twitter, Google, Pinterest, and Snap advertising APIs are a big plus.

Core Qualifications:

  • Solid senior-level application development history in at least one high-level language such as Python, NET, Java, etc. We primarily utilize Python 2.7.
  • Excellent JavaScript and HTML/CSS skills (single-page apps, dynamic HTML). Our AdRules UI is highly dynamic and complex, and you will be required to create new features and modify existing ones.  Your JavaScript skills should be on-par with your application/backend programming skills.
  • Vast SQL experience is an absolute must, especially experience with large result sets and complex, high-workload queries. Some SQL is assembled dynamically via the application code, so mastery is a requirement.
  • Experience building a system from the ground up, with an understanding of how different areas of the system interact, and tuning and optimizing the workload that a system performs – being the system “mastermind”.
  • Exceptional learning skills and work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with limited direction.
