Gameloft came to Consumer Acquisition to help drive original creative concepts for their new game title - Overdrive City. The value came through leveraging Consumer Acquisition’s creative studio to come up with original and proven UA concepts.
Summary
Overdrive City is a unique game offering as it blends the categories of carmakers and city builders. This meant its appeal was across a broad range of audiences that would normally enjoy car games, city-building games, and racing games. Thus a wide range of concepts needed to be tested to see what would perform. Complete creative freedom was granted to Consumer Acquisition in coming up with creative concepts. We explored the work of Need for Speed No Limits, Top Drives, Airport City and SimCity BuildIt to understand the messages these games were going to market with. This allowed us to position Overdrive City in a unique but considered way.
